My Summer Bucket List 2025: Living the Season Fully
My Summer Bucket List 2025: Living the Season Fully
Summer isn’t just a season – it’s a feeling. That magical mix of sunshine, long days, golden hours, late-night laughs, and fresh starts. For me, summer always feels like a second New Year – full of color, intention, and the energy to grow.
This year, I’ve decided to create a personal Summer Bucket List – not just things to do, but experiences that make me feel alive, present, and joyful. And today, I’m sharing it with you πΈ
Maybe it inspires you to make your own or gives you a few ideas to try this summer!
1. Watch the Sunrise at Least Once π
I want to wake up early one morning, wrap myself in a blanket, grab a coffee or tea, and watch the sky turn pink and gold. Just me, the birds, and a slow beginning to the day.
2. Create a Summer Journal π
A place to document thoughts, doodles, pressed flowers, photos, to-do lists, and favorite quotes. Not perfect – just real. I want to make it as free and aesthetic as possible, with stickers, colors, and honesty.
3. Have a Picnic with My Favorite People π
Somewhere green and sunny. A cozy blanket, a speaker with soft music, some lemonade, strawberries, books, and polaroid pictures. I want to create memories that feel like a movie.
4. Go Tech-Free for 24 Hours π΅
Just me and the world – no phone, no laptop, no social media. Maybe I’ll read, draw, go for a walk, or just exist without checking notifications. I’m curious how peaceful that might feel.
5. Try 3 New Summer Recipes π₯
From fresh fruit salads to homemade lemonade or something grilled. I want to play in the kitchen more, try colorful plates and maybe even make my own popsicles!
6. Visit a New Place – Even If It’s Nearby π
It could be a new beach, a hidden hiking trail, a small cafΓ© in another town, or even a museum. I want to feel like a tourist, even in my own country.
7. Make a Summer Playlist π§
Songs that feel like summer. Soft pop, indie, chill beats, and throwbacks that bring instant sunshine to my mood. I want to listen to it on walks, during golden hour, and while journaling.
8. Take 100+ Photos and Print Them πΈ
Capture everything – little moments, sunsets, laughter, my outfits, nature, books I’m reading. And then I’ll print them to make a collage or mood board for my room.
9. Try a New Hobby Just for Fun π¨
Not for school. Not for content. Just for me. Maybe painting, embroidery, candle-making, or something outdoorsy like rollerblading. Something that feels new and exciting.
10. Write a Letter to My Future Self π
At the end of summer, I’ll write a letter to me – about how I spent the season, what I felt, what I loved, and what I learned. I’ll seal it and open it next summer.
Why a Summer Bucket List?
Because time passes fast. And while I don’t want to pressure myself to do everything, I want to live intentionally. These things help me stay connected to the moment and create memories that I’ll look back on with a warm heart.
Every item on this list is more about how I want to feel than what I want to achieve. I want to feel relaxed, inspired, playful, spontaneous, creative, and fully present.
What’s on Your Summer Bucket List?
If you haven’t made one yet, now is the perfect time to start. Make it personal, make it messy, make it fun. Whether it’s one thing or fifty – do it for you.
I’d love to hear what’s on your list – share it in the comments below.
Here’s to a magical summer,
Emi πΊ
